Letter to the Editor
Santa Barbara News-Press

"Santa Barbara School Districts thank the community for the tremendous support shown for our students with the passage of Measure H and Measure I. Our students will benefit from additional science and math materials, additional music and art instruction, more foreign language instruction, and reduced class size in ninth-grade math.

Thank you for supporting education for our kids!"

J. Brian Sarvis
Superintendent
Santa Barbara School Districts

Measures H and I

Measure H supports education in grades 7-12. The funds are being used to supplement math, science, and technology education; music, arts and theater programs at the junior high school level; foreign language at the secondary level; and restores ninth grade math class sizes.

Measure I supports education in grades K-6. The funds are being used to supplement math, science, and technology education as well as offer classroom music programs to almost 5,000 elementary school students in our district.
