OUR EDUCATIONAL CHAMPS

By making a donation to the Santa Barbara Education Foundation, you are helping to support educational programs on 23 campuses in the Santa Barbara School Districts. These programs and projects are not supported by public funds. Donations may be directed to our endowment, to one of the current programs of focus, or to particular area of education (i.e., sports, arts, bricks and mortar projects.......) The good stewards of the Santa Barbara Education Foundation will ensure that your donation be leveraged to its highest and best use.

WAYS TO GIVE
The Santa Barbara Education Foundation is a way for donors to perpetuate their commitment and support of public education. Several types of funds, listed below, are available to donors as immediate opportunities or as bequests.

OPEN BOOK GIVING
We will link your gift to opportunities and programs aimed at improving the educational experience for all students. The good stewards of SBEF will manage and direct your donation into an area of greatest need, leveraging your gift to its highest good.

FOCUSED GIVING
This is an ideal way to support your area(s) of interest. You direct your gift to a specific area of education such as arts, science, sports and school libraries, and we find the program that best matches your request. We work with you to ensure your donation meets or exceeds your giving expectation.

PLANNED GIVING
Leave your legacy by enhancing public education. There are many ways to make a planned gift to SBEF. The most common way is in a will or living trust. Some people set aside a certain dollar amount, while others may leave a percentage of their estate or any assets left over after their family has been provided for. Planned gifts may also include property, a paid–up life insurance policy, retirement account or other financial investment. Please call (805) 284-9125 for a one–on–one conversation.

NEW! EDUCATIONAL INVESTOR
Make an annual commitment of $50 or more to the Santa Barbara Education Foundation and become an Educational Investor. We will send you a reminder card each year, list your name on our website site & Newsletter and keep you posted on our progress.
